Hotel Messier 53 is named after a French astronomer most notable for publishing an astronomical catalogue that came to be known as the 110 Messier objects. One of them was the 53rd nebula, which became the core for the whole branding.
One of the major inspiration themes was the shape and the spirit of the building itself. It seems to the something unearthly – it looks like space station, and the design is harmonic with it. The spacy mood of the branding is generally expressed in the atmosphere of the hotel as well, making you absolutely lose the sense of the earth and feel weightlessness.
